 Jeremiah Garcia is a singer-songwriter from Rochester, New York. If you like the smooth guitar sounds of Jason Mraz and Jack Johnson, you will love this cool dude's music. Buffalo Christian recently met with Jeremiah and asked him to share a bit about what's up.
1) You just won the Kingdom Bound International Talent Search. How does that feel?
It feels awesome because it's easy to get discouraged as a musician. Sometimes you doubt if what you're doing makes a difference or if it's worth the investment that you're putting into it. Basically it was a huge encouragement.
2) You almost didn't attend the live Kingdom Bound competition because you never got an email about it. Yet you ended up being the one out of 25 competitors who 5 judges picked as "the best." What are your thoughts on that?
I think that I was fortunate that Donna Russo (Kingdom Bound's Executive Director) allowed me to participate. I had the pleasure of meeting her and personally thanking her later for allowing me to participate.
3) Describe your music in two sentences so someone who has never heard you can get an idea what to expect...
The lyrics are fast paced. The music is soulful.
